AI company Anthropic is reportedly planning to spend approximately $45 billion over six years to rent computing capacity from Nscale, using Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin technology. The deal would provide around 460 megawatts of computing capacity and is part of Anthropic’s aggressive expansion of infrastructure to meet growing demand for products such as Claude Code. The agreement highlights the enormous computing resources and investment now required to train and operate advanced AI systems.
